Welcome to our very first Deaf Youth Camp of Color!

DYCC is the nation’s leading empowerment and leadership camp program designed for a group of deaf and hard of hearing high school students of color.

We are pleased to announce this camp has finally kicked off! Twelve campers have come altogether, each from different corners of America, to establish the first diverse youth team!

To keep you posted as this camp runs along, we have set up an account on Twitter and Wordpress. We hope you will check repeatedly on our daily video logs, blogs, and pictures. Thank you!

MISSION

The Deaf Youth Camp of Color (DYCC) will provide a warm and caring environment with a diverse pool of educated deaf and hard of hearing staff who will serve as role models teaching and engaging our campers in leadership activities and personal growth workshops to ignite in them a sense of responsibility, passion, commitment to become future advocates and leaders in their community and beyond.
